A weekend in Sydney - Singapore Day!

Sydney in mid Oct was definitely a timely break for me, after 2 exams and before 2 essays submission. Totally needed this break to get away from all the dramas and people :)

I didn't know you can actually bring food on board domestic flight haha I was eating my sundae when the crew was explaining how to use the life jacket and during take off. My happiest take off so far hehe because I've ice cream in my hands.

 At Darling Harbour!

We went for Hurricane ribs on the first night there, lucky Jiaxu booked a table for us because it was soo crowded!

Roamed around the area and look what we found!!!! GONGCHA!! I haven't drank it for 10 months haha so it really mean a lot to me.

The second day was to Singapore Day! Cannot be more thankful because I got to eat all the Singapore hawker food I've missed during my time here :')

 Morning view from our hotel!

The only down side is the queuing but I guess it pays off because of the food :)

 With Shuhan!

Tears of joy when I received my chicken rice haha it was sooooo good, so legit! :')

 While queuing up!

This was just as good especially the soup!

 Katong Laksaaa :)

Bumped into Mr and Mrs Lam, haha one was my primary school teacher, the other was my teacher in student care. It's been so many years and they have 3 kids now haha time flies!

Bumped into Randall Tan! Ahhh, reminiscing those days when I switch to Channel 5 to watch those shows!

We even had Old Chang Kee hehe

With the happily married couple at the cathedral behind heh :')

 With Kobayashiiii!

Being patriotic with Tannya!

Then we had Mexican that night..

Followed by ice cream at Messina!

This is totally the Masterchef cake they did in the show!

Happy cup hehe

Game night with ciderrrr but super bloated, wrong choice!

Went to the harbour bridge and Sydney opera house on our final day there before flying off.

To the gooooodness Sydney Fish Market. Seafood heaven!

 So fresh & good, I can't even.....

Headed to the casino and got some Zumbo's macaroons!

Ice cream again...... Something I can't resist.

Bought Gongcha to bring it on board!! Till I taste you again next year heh

City lights while flying back to Brissy!

A trip full of goodness and food, together with the best company, I just couldn't be more thankful hehe sucks to think that I have to leave Aussie for good this coming January. As much as I want to go home, I can't bear to leave here for good too. Pretty much settled in and I'm having all these mixed emotions about leaving. It's currently exam period now and I have one last paper to go - which hopefully I pass and able to graduate.
